Python Job: Student Intern

The GraalVM team strives to provide a universal virtual machine for a polyglot world, to enable applications to perform faster and more efficiently. Graal's compiler is a central part of this technology stack, and is a best-of-class compiler that is both mature and easy to extend.

We are looking for highly motivated internship candidates in a degree program in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related area of study. We expect a strong background in compiler construction and virtual machine architectures. This specific internship will have a strong focus on IT security and expects the student to have previous knowledge in this area.

In order to qualify, you have experience with most of the following technologies:

• real-world compiler and virtual machine technology
• knowledge in the area of IT security
• 4+ years of Java, IDEs like NetBeans or Eclipse
• basic Python scripting
• basic C/C++ systems-level programming
• test-driven development
• git
• issue trackers like JIRA
